As if we weren't already excited enough about the long-awaited second season of Euphoria (which, by the way, returns to screens next week on Monday), it appears Zendaya has been busy behind-the-scenes trying to get boyfriend Tom Holland on the show. Yep, it's the Spiderman/hazy teen drama crossover we never knew we needed – but are very much on board for.

Speaking in a Q&A session with IMDb, Spiderman's Tom revealed he "must have come to visit Euphoria 30 times this season" whilst supporting star of the show Zendaya, whom he's been officially dating since July 2021 (although rumours about their suspected romance have been swirling for years).

"Listen, I have been petitioning for this for a long time and it has not happened yet and I'm very disappointed," he added, referencing his many requests to make an appearance on the hit HBO series. But perhaps the idea of Tom making a cameo in the second season isn't too far fetched, with Zendaya confirming to Entertainment Tonight that the pair have: "Talked about it."

"He supported me through the whole season," she admitted. "You know, we joke about sneaking him into the background and seeing if someone can spot him."

Whether or not we'll actually catch a glimpse of Spiderman with the likes of Rue, Jules and Maddy remains to be seen. But, we know for sure at least that we're in for an emotional ride when the whole cast returns for season two. "There's a lot of emotions that are attached to this because this show, unlike anything else, is so personal," Zendaya said to ET of the second series.

"I hope you guys like it," she adds. "It’s very difficult in that way to let go of it. You’re never done with it. And then you share it with the world and then it’s kind of scary sometimes. But I’m definitely proud of the work we’ve all done. I’m proud of how far all these characters have come."
