Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, and Priyanka Chopra are the girl band we didn't know we needed
We love a red carpet event as it gives us the chance to see tons of our favourite celebs all in one place and all looking stunning. Occasionally we're treated to a group shot, like a couples moment or when Lizzo met Jared Leto in his cat costume at this year's Met Gala and sparked some truly great memes. And last night, we may have just witnessed the most iconic red carpet group pic *ever*.
It involved Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, and Priyanka Chopra. We really don't need to say any more than that, but it's worth getting into the details so we'll continue. The trio were in attendance at the "Bulgari Mediterranea High Jewelry" event in Venice, Italy last night to celebrate the new collection from the luxury jeweller. They were snapped posing together and it's safe to say they all came to slay.
Zendaya, Anne, and Priyanka are all brand ambassadors for Bulgari (alongside Blackpink's Lisa, who was also at the event and made sure to get in on other photo ops). As well as their glamorous 'fits, the women were all dripping in Bulgari diamonds, naturally.
Zendaya wore a custom Richard Quinn black velvet off-the-shoulder gown. The corseted bodice featured buttons down the front and hugged Zendaya's figure before flaring into an elegant mermaid silhouette. She accessorised with a diamond-encrusted choker in the shape of a snake.
Anne meanwhile opted for a gold and silver ombré sequinned dress by Versace with a thigh-high slit and see-through skirt. She later added a matching hood to her lewk for extra drama. Anne paired her dress with silver platform heels and a huge scarlet gemstone and diamond Bulgari necklace.
And finally, Priyanka wowed in an off-the-shoulder crop top and maxi skirt co-ord based on a look from Miss Sohee's SS23 couture collection. (The same brand responsible for Halle Bailey's custom mermaidcore dress at the UK premiere of The Little Mermaid on Sunday night). Priyanka's skirt featured ruching and draping details with a sequinned flower adornment adding extra bling alongside her diamond and multi-coloured gemstone choker.
Individually these women are all stars in their own right, but the power exuding from their group photo is next level. Seriously, this is the girl band we didn't know we needed. Despite her recent focus on her acting career, Zendaya did treat fans to a musical performance at this year's Coachella festival, and we know Anne can sing after she showed off her pipes in Les Misérables with her performance even earning her a best supporting actress Oscar. And if you didn't know, Priyanka can sing too. The actress is apparently a trained classical singer and even released a few singles back in the day.
We'll get brainstorming possible band names.
