Young Thug arrested on gang-related charges
BBC News reports that Young Thug, real name Jeffrey Lamar Williams has been arrested and charged with criminal street gang activity and conspiring to violate federal law via organized crime. His arrest was part of a grand jury indictment that named 28 people associated with his record label, YSL. The indictment refers to the label as a "criminal street gang" and claims it is associated with the Bloods. Hand gestures, emojis, lyrics and music videos were cited alleging "an overt act in furtherance of the conspiracy".
