New York’s bi-annual Fashion Week has come to a close after sartorially savvy editors, models, buyers and bloggers descended upon the city’s streets in their finest garb.

From 6 to 11 September, a host of designers presented their spring/summer 2020 collections, including Jeremy Scott, Savage x Fenty and Prabal Gurung.

But while the key pieces for the upcoming season were showcased on the runway, ogling over catwalk craftsmanship is only part of the fun.

Considering that the majority of the clothes we see during fashion week won't be available in stores for another six months, it’s often the colourful ensembles worn by the attendees outside the show venues that set the trend agenda.
