Yolanda Hadid has thanked her daughter Gigi for making her an "Oma”.
On Sunday, the former model shared a photo on Instagram of herself holding hands with her baby granddaughter.
In the image, the newborn can be seen wrapping her hands around two of Yolanda’s fingers with her face out of shot.
The baby, whose name has not yet been announced, wore a fluffy white baby grow with a brown teddy bear sewn onto the chest.
“My heart is expending with so much love and joy for this little baby girl she is an angel sent to us from above,” Yolanda wrote in the caption.
“Thank you Mommy & Daddy for making me a Oma, I love every minute of it.” Oma is the German word for 'grandma.'
Many of Yolanda's famous friends and followers left comments to congratulate The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, including Gigi who wrote: “Best Oma!!!”
Singer Dua Lipa left a series of smiling face emjoi surrounded by hearts, while Naomi Campbell commented with three pink heart emoji.

Gigi and her boyfriend Zayn Malik welcomed their first child in September 2020.
The model announced the arrival of her baby girl on Instagram, sharing a photo of her daughter holding hands with Zayn.
“Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love,” she wrote.
Announcing the birth on his own Instagram account, Zayn added: “Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful. To try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task.
“The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together x.”
Speculation about the pregnancy began in April when TMZ claimed that family sources had confirmed the couple, who have been dating on and off since late 2015, were expecting their first child together.
Three days later, Hadid confirmed the news during an appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.
After Fallon congratulated her on the pregnancy, she replied: “We're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support.”
