WWE twins Brie and Nikki Bella have welcomed baby boys within a day of each other.

The 36-year-old wrestling stars announced on Sunday in separate Instagram posts that they had each given birth to a son, with Nikki's arriving on Friday 31 July and Brie's on Saturday 1 August.

Nikki shared a photo of her newborn's hand clasping her own and that of her fiancé Artem Chigvintsev, writing: "7/31/2020 Our baby boy is here and we couldn’t be HAPPIER and more in LOVE! Everyone is safe and healthy.”

Meanwhile, Brie shared a similar snap featuring her baby boy's hand along with hers and husband Daniel Bryan's. She wrote: "It’s a BOY!!! 8-1-2020 We are overwhelmed with joy and everyone is healthy!!!"

It's the second child for Brie and her pro-wrestler spouse, as they already share a two-year-old daughter, Birdie.

The sisters announced their pregnancies together back in January, when it was said there were just two weeks in between their due dates.

They also shot down the suggestion that they had planned the pregnancies to occur so close together.

Nikki was partnered with professional dancer Chigvintsev during the 25th series of Dancing With The Stars in 2017. He had previously appeared as a dancer on Strictly Come Dancing in the UK, winning with actor Kara Tointon in 2010.

Nikki and Brie, who retired from in-ring wrestling last year, have starred in their own reality series Total Bellas since 2016.

The series is a spin-off from the Total Divas series, which explores the lives of female wrestlers.
