WWE Survivor Series 2017: Results, live updates, match card, predictions

In a battle of bragging rights, Team "RAW" came out on top, but the path to getting there at Survivor Series was messy, convoluted and confusing.

WWE Survivor Series is set to kickoff tonight from the Toyota Center in Houston, Tex. and airing live on the WWE Network. The pre-show begins at 5:00 p.m. ET with the main card starting at 7:00 p.m. ET.

The card features matches that will pit "RAW" versus "SmackDown Live" superstars against one another. That includes a pair of five-on-five elimination matches as well as the first-ever meeting between "RAW" Universal Champion Brock Lesnar squaring off against "SmackDown Live" WWE Champion AJ Styles.

Sporting News will provide live bell-to-bell coverage of Survivor Series throughout the night beginning at 5:00 p.m. ET.

WWE Survivor Series 2017 results

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs. Breezango

6:44 P.M. FINISH: Zayn and Owens get control and work over Breeze who finally makes the tag to Fandango. He runs wild but then runs into a KO pop-up powerbomb and it's over.

6:38 P.M.: 'Dango with dropkicks to both Owens and Zayn and it's time to hand out some violations. Guilty as charged.

6:35 P.M.: Get pumped!

6:34 P.M.: Owens and Zayn are not happy that they have to face the Fashion Police and want an investigation into the "insane vendatta" Shane McMahon has against them. And they won't help "SmackDown Live" because it's not their problem and they won't get in the middle of a family squablle. Zayn was still talking when Breezango's music hit and he looked a bit miffed.

6:28 P.M.: The kickoff show panel is talking about potential faceoffs in the men's 5-on-5 elimination match tonight. Shane McMahon and Triple H going head-to-head is the one getting the most attention and for good reason. I'm a bit surprised that John Cena returning for this show hasn't been talked up more.

6:24 P.M.: Reminder to head over to Twitter and follow the Sporting News' wrestling account. You'll get breaking news and stories from myself and the entire wrestling staff.

Enzo Amore beats Kalisto to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

6:17 P.M. FINISH: Enzo did it again as he stayed alive and found the spot to take advantage as he drives Kalisto's face into his foot and that's all she wrote.

6:13 P.M.: Enzo tries to drill Kalisto in the corner again and then the luchador connects with a beautiful moonsault. He's on fire now.

6:10 P.M.: Kalisto hits a really cool Code Red early on and almost wins it there. Few minutes later, Enzo is in control and drills Kalisto with an elbow in the face while he's hanging upside down in the corner.

6:05 P.M.: Here he comes...

6:00 P.M.: The Miz can't help himself in being annoying, even picking on Charlie and the questions that were chosen from the WWE Universe. I have to side with him on this one. These questions are rather lame including if he is feeling any pressure from the rest of the 'RAW' roster to win tonight. But Miz is awesome is being snarky about everything. He is a true treasure.

5:57 P.M.: The Miz is sitting down backstage with Charlie to answer some questions from social media. And he's ready to unleash holy hell on Baron Corbin.

Elias defeats Matt Hardy

5:52 P.M.: Afterwards, Shawn MIchaels says it's a huge momentum win for the Drifter while the others squirmed since that nickname was x-nayed months ago. Oops.

5:50 P.M. FINISH: Hardy was selling his left shoulder for the second half of the match after Elias drove him into the corner post. He connects with the Drift Away and scores the win.

5:45 P.M.: I think the announcers have spent more time running down the Survivor Series card than calling this match so far which has been mostly headlocks and armbars so far. And then Matt connects with s Side Effect on the apron!

5:37 P.M.: Time for some in-ring action! Elias has one question for everybody: who wants to walk with Elias?!

5:33 P.M.: Words are flying now. Charlotte is calling out Alexa for not being with others on 'RAW' when they showed up on "SmackDown" and she made fun of her "Five Feet of Fury" line. Even before that, Renee asked Alexa about the big size difference between the women which Alexa did not take took kindly too.

5:30 P.M.: Shawn Michaels just repeated the infamous Survivor Series tagline that "tonight is the one night of the year where stars from 'RAW' and 'SmackDown' go head-to-head' and made of it being repeated over and over. Just another reason why HBK is the man. FYI - by my count it's already been said six times so far on this show.

5:17 P.M.: In case you were curious, The Miz is focused on his match against Baron Corbin. The eyes of a killer.

5:13 P.M.: In case you hadn't heard, two matches have been added to the show kickoff show with Matt Hardy taking on Elias and the team of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn against Breezango. Dance everybody!

5:04 P.M.: Here's the kickoff show panel including H-B-Shizzle!

5:00 P.M.: Welcome to the live blog! In case you didn't know or forgot, Survivor Series is the one time a year that the stars of "RAW" and "SmackDown" compete against one another in one-on-one matches.
