Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page named world's most handsome man, according to science
While finding someone attractive is often down to personal preference, a doctor has used facial mapping techniques to determine the world’s most handsome man.
Using the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi, cosmetic surgeon Dr Julian De Silva deemed Bridgerton’s Regé-Jean Page as the winner, with Chris Hemsworth, Michael B Jordan and Harry Styles as close runners-up.

The Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi is a ratio of roughly 1.618, which analyses the symmetry of someone’s face to determine how attractive they are perceived to be.
Leonardo Da Vinci was known to use the Golden Ratio in his work in order to make it more visually appealing.
Harley Street surgeon Dr De Silva found that Page’s ratios were 93.65% accurate, making him the most attractive male celebrity. Hemsworth scored 93.53%, Jordan came third with 93.46% and Styles placed fourth with 92.3%.

Others on the list included England men’s football player Jude Bellingham (92.22%), Robert Pattison (92.15%), Chris Evans (91.92%) and George Clooney (89.91%).

“Regé won because of his classically beautiful face and gorgeous brown eyes,” Dr De Silver explained.
“He had easily the highest score for his eye spacing and the positioning of his eyes also scored highly. His perfectly shaped lips also scored highly and the only mark he got that was slightly lower was for his nose width and length.”
The surgeon added that Styles scored an “almost perfect” score for his chin (99.7%), and Evans was given a score of 98.8% for his lips.

The top 10 most attractive celebrity females, according to the Golden Ratio were released last year, with Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer topping the list with 94.55%.
Runners up for the women included Zendaya (94.36%), Bella Hadid (94.35%) and Beyonce (92.44%).
