This Woman's Nutella And Ferrero Rocher Pastry Pockets Recipe Will Change Your Life
For those of you with leftover Ferrero Rocher from Christmas, you're going to love this! Many of us are getting our bake on once again as we spend more time at home during Lockdown, and now one genius Instagram user is showing us how to do it right.
Sharing her amazingly easy hazelnut spread (aka Nutella) Fererro Rocher pockets, Walla Abu-Eid revealed that it uses just four ingredients.
The quick and simple recipe is perfect for anyone trying to keep kids occupied with cooking, or for solo bakers attempting to bat away those January blues.
Walla shared the mouthwatering recipe on Instagram via her account @walla_abueid. Here's all you need:
Puff pastry sheets
Hazelnut spread, like Nutella
Ferrero Rocher chocolates
1 egg with a dash of vanilla essence
To recreate the magic, here's Walla's easy to follow baking method:
Cut each puff pastry sheet into an equal number of squares
Place some hazelnut spread in the centre of half the squares and top with a Ferrero Rocher chocolate
Place a second square of puff pastry on top and seal edges, use a fork to ensure it’s sealed well
Whisk egg with vanilla and brush it on top of pastry squares
Bake in a 200C oven until pastry is fully cooked
Folk on Instagram were loving the dessert recipe, with many delighting in how simple the pastries were to make.
"Thanks for the recipe! So easy, and extremely delicious!" one commenting.
Another added: "Ferraro Rocher are my absolute fave chocolate!! This looks so delish!"
