Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced Chiquinho has returned from a very short loan spell at Stoke City and joined Famalicāo until the end of the season.
Announced as a Potters signing only six weeks ago, the former Portugal U21 international was dramatically sent back to Wolves after just three appearances in the Championship.
Speculation mounted that the reason for the speedy cancellation of the transfer was down to problems with his attitude. He played just 59 minutes in the league and 61 in the Carabao Cup.
Chiquinho will still head out for the remainder of 2023/24 but is joining the Portuguese Primeira Liga instead of the English second tier.
The 23-year-old has the opportunity to revive his career after spending the entirety of last season on the sidelines with a serious knee injury.
