Eddie Izzard may have played the part of Queen Victoria's eldest son, Bertie, Prince of Wales in Stephen Frears' 'Victoria and Abdul' but he's a republican and doesn't support an hereditary monarchy. Speaking to the Metro, he said: "It doesn't make sense in the 21st century." In another interview with The Independent, he said: "Hereditary privilege is crazy to me. Former US President Donald Trump is not a fan of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex because of the way she has disrespected the British Royal Family since she and her husband Prince Harry made the decision to step back from being working royals. Speaking to Nigel Farage, he said: "I think she’s very disrespectful to the royal family. "I’m not a fan of hers. I wasn’t from day one.
