·1-min read

These are the winners of the WildArt Photographer of the Year ‘EYES’ category.

WildArt Photographer of the Year is a new wildlife photography competition with a difference.

Designed by wildlife photographers, for wildlife photographers and judged solely by wildlife photographers, it features 10 themed category contests run over the first 10 months of 2021.

EYES is the WildArt category which accepted entries during March and is the concept of the category judge and wildlife photographer Josh Galicki from the United States.

Josh is one of North America’s leading bird photographers.

The WildArt judging team is comprised entirely of respected and award-winning wildlife photographers including Josh; they come from all over the world and have varied styles and specialisations.

EYES proved to be the most popular WildArt category to date receiving over 1,100 entries from all around the world.

Josh and his judging team spent hours scrutinising all the images and had a tough job to finally narrow them down to a Top 100 and ultimately to the winners.

The organisers say: "The standard this competition is attracting is simply breath-taking as you will see from the winning images. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings – it’s going to be some final at the end of the year!"
