I'm sorry to break it to you, but you've been committing a mortal sin against your face every day since you were old enough to bathe yourself.

If you've been washing your face in the shower, you owe your skin an apology, because according to Charlotte Cho, founder of Soko Glam and licensed aesthetician, it's actually not good for your delicate epidermis.

"Hot water coming straight onto your face from the shower head can strip away your natural oils and leave your skin barrier weak, vulnerable and cracked," Cho explained to BuzzFeed.

Instead, she recommends bubbling up your pores in the bathroom sink using lukewarm water, instead of the flaming hell temperatures of a shower.

Oh, and by the way: you've also been wearing your bra wrong. Have a nice day!
