Thanks to their fancy clothes and glam squads, it would be easy to think celebs are all over the latest tech, too. But Justin Bieber recently revealed he's an exception to that rule, and actually doesn't even have a phone.

In a new interview, the 27-year-old singer explained he made the decision to get rid of his mobile recently so that he wasn't constantly contactable, instead using an iPad to get in touch with his team when it suits him. Anyone else getting 60-year-old taking a photo with an iPad on holiday vibes?

"I definitely learned how to have boundaries, and I just don't feel like I owe anybody anything," he told Billboard in a new interview. "That has helped me to be able to just say no and just be firm in it and know that my heart [wants] to help people, but I can't do everything. I want to sometimes, but it's just not sustainable."

He explained that he finishes work at 6pm to hang out with wife Hailey Bieber, and rises at 8am each morning, which is when he'll get in touch with his team (instead of being on call all the time.)

Speaking about why, the singer said he was putting emphasis on finding a decent work/life balance. "I just changed my priorities so that I didn't [become] another statistic of young musicians that ended up, like, not making it," he said.

"There was a time where I really did have my identity wrapped up in my career, but I really do have an overflow of feeling like my purpose is to use my music to inspire. At this point, I've reached a level of success so many times that I know success isn't a be-all, end-all to my happiness."

Sounds like The Biebs is in a really good place. Maybe we should all give up our phones too?
