There’s apparently a good reason why Ariana Grande has been hanging out with two of her ex-boyfriends recently and it has nothing to do with an upcoming collaboration.
The singer has been spotted with both Big Sean and Ricky Alvarez in the previous few months, with plenty of fans jumping to the (wrong) conclusion that she was considering dating one of them again.
It’s now being claimed that Ari is just determined to keep her friendships strong and realised that the best way to embrace the future was to become totally at peace with her past.
“After ‘Thank U, Next’ came out, Ariana was really living her single life and being with her friends, learning about herself,” a source told Us Weekly. "But after a couple weeks, she was trying to figure out what went wrong with her past relationships.”
“She didn’t want any bad blood holding her back from the next phase of her life. She has reached out to her exes to have a positive place in her life right now and for peace of mind, so she can focus on herself and this tour, which is the only thing on her mind right now.”
Ariana kicked off her ‘Sweetener’ world tour in Albany, New York, and took to Twitter after the show to write: “I really dunno what to say yet. For now, thank you will suffice. A dream come true typeeaa night. I love you. so much. Thank you. [sic]”
If only the rest of us could find even 10% of this maturity.
