The ancient art of henna has long been a tradition in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.

But what happened when brides-to-be grew tired of the go-to hue a handful of years ago?

Well, henna connoisseur Sara Vazir stepped up to introduce unique designs produced using a white plant-based dye. And when influencer Huda Kattan shared a snap of her one-of-a-kind white henna, it became an instant success.

Now, Vazir is in high demand with brides across the United States clambering for her designs ahead of their big day. And with years of experience under her belt, its hardly surprising.

Born in Pakistan, Vazir watched her mother dabble in the art of henna over the years. And after graduating and starting a job in event management, she decided to set up a henna stall at a fair one day. But what she didn’t expect was to draw overwhelming interest from crowds.

Though to an outsider its hardly surprising, as what Vazir offers brides is a truly unique take on her upcoming nuptials.

The Hong Kong-based artist creates a ‘love story’ for each woman drawing intricate details of the couple’s memories upon the bride’s hands.

From shared hobbies and first gifts, Vazir illustrates every shared moment between the engaged couple in white dye.

And we think you’ll agree when we say, its truly a sight to behold.
