Whipped Lemonade Is TikTok’s Latest Trend And It’s Right Up Our Street
Remember last year when everyone became obsessed with dalgona coffee aka whipped coffee? Well, the next thing we knew, people were also making whipped hot chocolate, whipped peanut butter milk, whipped Biscoff milk, whipped Nutella milk, whipped strawberry milk, and – our personal favourite – whipped dalgona espresso martinis.
What with all that whipping going on, there were a lot of people walking around with one very strong arm…
But the whipping trend isn’t over yet, but at least this new drink is made in a blender.
You may have seen whipped lemonade doing the rounds on TikTok recently. And we can totally see why people are into this new drink because it looks hella refreshing and indulgent.
There are a couple of different versions of whipped lemonade that you can try. There’s one, which involves lemonade powder mix, which tends to be more of an American thing. So we’re going to focus on the whipped lemonade that’s made with squirty cream and condensed milk, because not only can we very easily get hold of those things in the UK, but also, have you ever met anyone who doesn’t like those two things – especially condensed milk?
One recipe for this creamy, zesty drink we’ve found on TikTok is from @mtlajeunesse, who chucks ice, squirty cream, condensed milk and lemon juice into a blender before giving it a right good blitzing.
She then garnishes it with a lemon slice and even more squirty cream.
There’s no denying that the end result is a work of art.
