What's Something Lowkey Wild Or Dangerous That Your Grandpa Or Grandma Does That You've Just Got To Share?

Sometimes grandparents are really set in their ways. They play by their own rules, and damn anyone who tries to change them! Some of their habits may be harmlessly peculiar, but others may be straight-up concerning.

Maybe your grandma is really bad about leaving food sitting out for hours, sometimes days, at a time. You and your parents were concerned it was because of her memory, but your grandma insists she does it because it's just how she's lived her life thus far, so, therefore, it must be safe and fine. You and your parents pop things in the fridge when you visit, and she gets so annoyed with you all for interfering with her lifestyle. You're worried she's going to get herself sick!

Perhaps your grandpa keeps a water gun loaded, and when he sees squirrels on his birdfeeder or in his garden, he pops out the backdoor and sprays them. When you visit, you dump the water down the sink and leave the empty water gun where you found it.

Maybe your grandpa will sometimes drive with an open beer in the cupholder. He did it while your dad and his siblings were growing up all the time, and he has no desire to stop now. Your parents, aunts, and uncles have lectured him at length about this practice and swear they will never speak to him again if he does it while you or your cousins are in the car. He always brushes it off and promises to only do it while alone, which still angers them.

Or maybe your grandma used to wash you and your cousins' mouths out with soap any time you swore in front of her as kids, much to the dismay of your mother (who HATED that as a kid). Now, your grandma teases you that she will do the same thing to your kids when they're older and stay with her, which you're not a fan of in the slightest.
