If you're still looking for an alternative to the World Cup takeover, there are plenty of great distractions on TV this week.

Claudia Winkleman brings a brand new gameshow/reality mash-up to BBC One with The Traitors, Warwick Davis returns to his role as Willow in Disney+'s TV series spin-off of the cult hit, and there's a change in the Strictly Come Dancing schedule to look out for.

Viewers who are missing their daily jungle updates can see the I'm A Celebrity Coming Out Show on ITV, while ITV2 catches up with Love Island's winners in Ekin-Su & Davide: Homecomings.

Everyone's favourite Love Island couple are back on our screens for two nights this week as they show off their roots in Italy and Turkey.

The self-proclaimed Italian Snack and Turkish Delight introduce each other to the best their homelands have to offer as well as spending time with each other's families, and fans get to see how their relationship is going.

The Traitors - BBC One - 9.30pm Tuesday, 9.15pm Wednesday, 9pm Thursday

Claudia Winkleman fronts this new concept reality gameshow that recruits 22 contestants for a murder mystery with a huge cash prize.

Most of the group have been designated the Faithful, but some have been chosen by Winkleman as the Traitors who must "murder" members of the group while going undetected.

There are regular tense showdowns where the group try to expose the Traitors and those who make it to the end could win up to £120,000 - but if a rogue Traitor remains in the group, they'll walk away with the lot.

Richard E. Grant narrates this documentary about the now King's secret passion project - restoring Dumfries House in the rundown area of East Ayrshire.

In 2007, then Prince Charles stopped the sale of millions of pounds worth of Chippendales at auction and also bought the 18th century stately home they had come from, with the aim of restoring it and preventing the Chippendales being lost.

Here, his project to bring Dumfries House back to life and help the local economy is explored.

Warwick Davis first played the titular sorcerer Willow in Ron Howard's 1988 movie, which became a cult hit after unspectacular box office returns.

The character is now set to return, with this new series following Willow as he leads a misfit group of heroes on a dramatic and dangerous rescue mission.

I'm A Celebrity: The Coming Out Show - ITV - 9.15pm, Thursday

Hit comedy challenge show Taskmaster reaches the final of season 14, as Dara Ó Briain, Fern Brady, John Kearns, Munya Chawawa and Sarah Millican battle it out in front of hosts Greg Davies and Alex Horne.

Once the champion is crowned, there's a New Year special to look forward to and a 15th season confirmed for 2023.

Note the different day for Strictly's live episode this week as even the flagship entertainment series makes way for the World Cup.

It's worth making time in your Friday evening for Strictly, though, as we hit the quarter finals and the annual musicals week which always throws up some noteworthy dances.

We're at the sharp end of the competition now, with just two more weeks left after this one to see who lifts the glitterball trophy.
