Just for the record, we’re not asking — although many fans have inquired about Rita Ora’s change of appearance, with some tweeting that the singer/actress looked completely unrecognizable at Grammys pre and post party events over the weekend.

Ora, 26, strutted the red carpet  in a fitted, floor-skimming , open-back, black velvet Tom Ford dress. She pulled her iconic blonde locks into a low ponytail, with loose tendrils tenderly framing her face and opted for rose-toned shadow, soft pink lips and blush — absolute stunner!  Still, slightly different from the fresh-faced girl-next-door look Ora used to rock.

Perhaps she’s simply growing up or it could be due to expert contouring, but fans have their own theories:

There were even a few Katy Perry comparisons. Perry, who recently ditched her raven locks in favour of bleached blonde, showed up at the Grammys in a Tom Ford gold-sequin metallic gown-feather skirt number that was considered by many to be a major fashion mishap.

“Katy Perry looks so much like Rita Ora with that blonde hair!!!” one Twitter user noted. While another joked, “Has anyone seen Rita Ora since Katy Perry appeared? We need to be sure this isn’t the same person.”

Both stars rock blonde hair, but that’s where the comparison ends, IMO.
