Aldi's new Easter Egg range has got us almost literally jumping for joy - sundae-shaped eggs, great big slabs of choc and a luxury rocky road egg. Yum.
PLUS Aldi's in our corner with the bargains because some eggs come in at just £2.49.
First, let's address these fun sundae eggs. The brand new Dairyfine Chocolate Sundaes come in two flavours: a White Chocolate Strawberry Sundae topped with a white chocolate drizzle, raspberry pieces, filled mini eggs and a glacé cherry, or Milk Chocolate Fudge Sundae, topped with a caramel chocolate drizzle, filled mini eggs fudge pieces and a glacé cherry. They'll set you back £8.99, but we think they're worth it.
The Dairyfine Easter Slabs are a great unique Easter chocolate option, and they come in the form of a White Chocolate ‘Unicorn Bark’ topped with chocolate mini eggs and colourful sprinkles. Then there's the Milk Chocolate ‘Fried Egg on Toast’ slab with delicious milk chocolate and a white chocolate yolk. Breakfast choc anyone?
The new range is the gift that keeps on giving - there are also some new classic egg shape flavours including the Dairyfine Peanut Surprise Egg. The chocolate shell contains chunky salted peanut pieces and comes with mini peanut butter eggs hidden inside, how heavenly.
Now for the luxury option - the Choceur Rocky Road Drizzle Egg. The new egg has a milk chocolate shell packed with pretzel pieces, honeycomb and marshmallows, and it comes topped with a pink-hued, white chocolate drizzle.
Also new for 2023 is a cute gaming-themed egg for any tech-heads out there, a crocodile-themed egg (oo-er) and Dairyfine Mini Egg Chunky Bar that's essentially a dupe of the Cadbury Mini Egg Bar.
The new range will be available in stores and via Click and Collect from 5th February 2023.
