Burger chain Wendy's is on its way to Wisbech, with a new takeaway and restaurant opening next month.

The new outlet in the Horsefair is one of three new sites, with new openings also planned for Lincoln next month and Colchester in May.

Wendy's said: "There are now nearly 30 Wendy’s locations in the UK, including 13 brick-and-mortar restaurants, with the aim to have 45 sites operating in the UK by the end of this year.

"The new restaurants, which have commenced recruitment, will create over 120 jobs across the three new sites – each with competitive salaries, employee benefits and opportunities for growth."
