Wendy’s Has $1 Chicken Biscuit Sandwiches Every Week Until October
Wendy's $1 Honey Buddy sandwiches, previously called Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits, are available during breakfast hours until September 30
Breakfast is the most important (and least expensive) meal of the day at Wendy’s.
The fast food restaurant is handing out a $1 Honey Buddy during breakfast hours every week, now through Monday, September 30.
The deal, which is available with any purchase, is meant to turn around what Wendy’s is calling “Unhappy Hour,” a.k.a. getting out of bed on Monday mornings.
Honey Buddy is the new name for the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit. A biscuit is topped with fried chicken and drizzled in maple honey butter, making for a “harmonious balance of savory and sweet in every bite,” according to a press release.
Customers can snag the $1 Honey Buddy by selecting the "$1 breakfast sandwich with any purchase" deal from the "offers" tab before adding a Honey Buddy and another item in their cart. The deal can be used during breakfast hours for mobile orders or in-person by scanning the in-app offer.
While marketed as a Monday morning pick-me-up, the deal isn't just available for use on Mondays — it's available any day, but only once per week, meaning if you use the offer on Tuesday, you can't use it again until next Tuesday.
For more breakfast deals, check out Krispy Kreme this month. The donut spot is handing out free specialty donuts every Tuesday and free iced coffee every Friday in July.
On Tuesday, July 23 and 30, rewards members can snag a donut from limited-time selections. Previous Tuesdays highlighted the Kit Kat collection and the Star Spangled Sweetness collection, but the upcoming Tuesday sweets remain a mystery. The Friday free iced coffee deal is good for any size coffee on July 26.
It is possible that the bakery chain’s free Tuesday donut will be from the new Passport to Paris collection. The three treats pay homage to classic French desserts: Crème Brûlée donut, Double Chocolate Éclair donut and the Raspberry and Vanilla Crème donut.
For the Crème Brûlée donut, an unglazed donut is filled with crème brûlée-flavored cream before being dipped in caramel icing and crispy, caramelized sugar toppings.
The Double Chocolate Éclair donut is also made with an unglazed donut, but this one gets chocolate custard filling and covered in chocolate icing and topped with chocolate pearls.
The Raspberry and Vanilla Crème donut takes a glazed donut and decorates it with raspberry icing, cookie pieces and vanilla cream.
