Numerous British actors and actresses turned out for the British Independent Film Awards on Sunday night, kick-starting a fantastic week of red carpet celebrity fashion.
‘Howard’s End’ star Hayley Atwell had a fairytale moment in Jenny Packham while former ‘Downton Abbey’ actress Joanne Froggatt looked lovely in another London-based label, Temperley.
Over in LA, the cast of the latest ‘Star Wars’ flick got together for the first of film’s premieres, donning their finest attire. Daisy Ridley turned to modern, ready-to-wear label Monse for her starry, strapless dress but it was Lupita Nyong’o that stole the show in London Fashion Week label Halpern.
Gwendoline Christie turned heads in custom Gucci; a metallic gown that boasted a thigh-high split.
The men scrubbed up just as well. John Boyego proved that a polo neck most definitely works on the red carpet and Domnhall Gleeson made a case for a bold, blue Burberry suit.
Elsewhere, the ‘Pitch Perfect 3’ premiere gave us a plethora of fashion to peruse and Zendaya and Jessica Chastain proved their sartorial prowess in a number of outfits for the premieres of their latest films.
