5. Vogue William's favourite granola brand launches new flavour

Ever wondered which granola a model loves for breakfast, lunch plus snacking in between? Well, if you're Vogue Williams, it's Homespun quinoa crunch, obviously.

You'll be forgiven if you've never heard of it-they're a tiny start up business based in West Cork, and have just launched its free-from granola in the UK for the first time. The mix of plant-based proteins-think quinoa pops, raw nuts, and berries-is so tasty you won't be able to put down-WH tried and tested by chief foodie @allyyhead.

The new flavour, Pecan and Cranberry, is available for £4.99 from Ocado now.

6. Bjorn Borg and Robyn release first ever non-gender specific fit kit

You'll have to wait until February 2019, but this week it was announced that fit kit brand Björn Borg will be collaborating with Swedish pop star and fashion icon Robyn for an exclusive capsule collection-that's non-gendered.

Developed by Robyn, renowned stylist Naomi Itkes and Björn Borg’s design team, the collection is a mix of sportswear, streetwear and fashionable workwear. More details on the collection to follow, but get excited.

7. As new year rolls around, read up on David Lloyd's fitness trend predictions

Already planning ahead for what fitness trends to try out for 2019? From LIIT to HIIT, leading health and fitness chain, David Lloyd Clubs, has this week reveals the trends that they think will be everywhere next year.

The list includes LIIT (low intensity interval training), more HIIT training, rowing as the new cycling, more wearable tech, personalised workouts and a bigger focus on keeping the over 55s active, as encouraged in PHE's last report.

8. Triyoga introduces use of consent cards

triyoga-one of the biggest yoga studios in London, with five locations and over 750 yoga classes-has just pulled a UK first by introducing consent cards across it's public classes.

Why? Physical assists or adjustments can be an important teaching tool but, understandably, not everyone wants to be adjusted when they come to a yoga class. By introducing their consent cards, triyoga aims to empower students to have a say over their own bodies. Hear, hear.

The cards will be placed on mats pre-class, a subtle way for students to silently indicate to a teacher that they would prefer not to receive any adjustments that day.

Sure, it may be nearing minus temperatures in England, but the same cannot be said of Honolua Bay, Maui, where Roxy athlete and pro surfer Stephanie Gilmore clinched her seventh world title. Not bad at all. And, back to the reindeer Malteasers we go..

10. Got the sniffles? It'll cost you

Tick where appropriate: you've got a bunged up nose, watery eyes, sneezes and headaches. It's the season for it. But have you ever wondered how much you spend on getting rid of the dreaded cold?

A new study from Satsuma found that the average annual extra costs of the yearly cold and flu season is a whopping £175, with the average person surveyed getting two to four colds per year. Better start saving up then (or read our guide to how to make sure you don't get the office cold. You're welcome).
