Weather Service Video Shows 'Aggregate' Snowflakes Falling in Pennsylvania

What the National Weather Service referred to as “gigantic aggregates,” a “fancy term” for a group of snowflakes, were seen falling in State College, Pennsylvania, on December 1.

The service forecast significant snowfall and wind speeds of up to 30 miles per hour around the state.
