The Way This Guy Cooks Baked Beans Has Made Us Question Everything We Thought We Knew

Baked beans on toast have saved us many a time after a, erm, heavy night out… plus, if you have nothing else in the house, baked beans and cheese on a baked potato makes a perfectly acceptable dinner choice.

Now, you’d think that cooking baked beans was just about the easiest thing you can do; with very little room for arguments. You basically either chuck them in the microwave or sling them in a saucepan on the hob.

Despite beans being just about the easiest thing you can cook, this guy on Reddit has managed to cause a great deal of upset on social media about the way he does his.

The Reddit user, who guys by the name do_the_rawr, shared a photo of his beans on toast, but there was something a little off about the bean to tomato sauce ratio.

The photo of the questionable beans was captioned, “Who else likes their beans overdone? (*Cheese imminent)”.

The beans had been cooked to within an inch of their lives, which some people commented would mean at least the toast doesn’t go soggy. But for the most part, people were up in arms about how these precious beans had been treated.

But what do you think – are you into wet, super-saucy beans or do you prefer a drier set up?
