Parenting a young child often means finding new ways to conquer everyday tasks. Like morphing your hand into a spaceship at feeding time, or soothing tears with cringeworthy Wiggles impressions.

For South African mum, Caryn Morris, it was sneakily maneuvering out of her son’s room after finally getting him to sleep. What’s best is her husband caught the whole thing on camera, showing us just how insane, yet equally adorable, raising a child can be.

“The best thing about having cameras in your house is watching your wife trying to exit the room after putting your son down,” wrote husband Tyrone Morris, after uploading the footage to Facebook, “Sometimes you have to use your initiative for your exit.”

The video has received more than 11 million views and counting. The comments are filled with parents who’ve commended Caryn’s stealthy exit — Some admitting to using similar tactics themselves.
