Our jaws were on the floor when we got a look at the first few photos from Olivia Dunne’s rookie SI Swimsuit photoshoot in Porto and the North, Portugal. And the model herself, who made her debut with the magazine in Puerto Rico this year, had the most adorable reaction when she took a sneak peek at some pics from Ben Watts‘s camera.

The LSU gymnast, who was revealed as a 2024 rookie yesterday, is set to appear in the magazine’s 60th anniversary issue next May. SI Swimsuit shared the sweetest behind the scenes video on Instagram from the athlete’s photoshoot, and caught the 21-year-old’s reaction as she gasped, opened her mouth in shock and held her hands to her face. Dunne simply couldn’t stop smiling and sweetly hugged editor in chief MJ Day.

The New Jersey native was practically speechless and could barely complete any sentences while in shock. The video is an absolute must-watch, as Dunne’s energy is contagious and her excitement is truly palpable.

“Oh Wow. Oh my Gosh. Like that... it’s ahhh. I love that. That’s my favorite,” she managed to say between huge smiles. “[Ben Watts] is good. He’s so good. You guys are good.”

“We’re having the same reaction to @livvydunne’s 2024 SI Swimsuit Rookie photos! 👙,” read the caption under the video.

“The most deserving woman ever,” one fan commented. “Worked hard for everything she has.”

“She’s literally the prettiest,” another wrote.

“her reactions are everything ❤️😍,” someone else chimed.

“The decision to invite Livvy back to appear in the 2024 issue as a rookie was an easy one. Last year, we featured Livvy the D1 athlete, highlighting her accolades as an all-academic and an all star on the rise. This year, we are featuring Livvy as a well-established, industrious entrepreneur who is here to stay, who continues to break barriers, continues to work hard and forge an unforgettable path for herself and future generations of female athletes,” Day shared of the decision to invite Dunne back. “Like all the incredible women that represent SI Swimsuit, Livvy stands out in her own unique and critical way. We are so incredibly proud of what she continues to achieve and are so excited to welcome her back not as Livvy Dunne the LSU D1 gymnast, but Livvy Dunne, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit rookie.”

The NCAA star is highest-paid female college athlete in the country, as well as a successful entrepreneur and content creator—boasting more than 12.2 million TikTok and Instagram followers.
