You can watch Love Actually with a full live orchestra this Christmas
As Christmas approaches, you're probably planning your annual Love Actually viewing. This year, when the wedding scene comes on screen, you could be treated to an actual, real life orchestra standing up in the stalls to play the iconic 'All You Need Is Love' scene.
Why? Because the festive film will be screened live across the UK this Christmas as part of a huge concert tour, featuring a full orchestra performing the enchanting score. As in, a live band will perform BAFTA winning composer Craig Armstrong's soundtrack alongside the film being projected onto a massive screen. This. Is. Amazing.
The UK tour dates are as follows:
November 23, The Great Hall, Exeter - Exeter
November 24, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall - Liverpool
November 25, St David's Hall - Cardiff
November 26, De Montfort Hall - Leicester
November 27, Bridgewater Hall - Manchester
November 28, Brighton Dome - Brighton
November 29, Bath Forum - Bath
November 30, Lighthouse - Poole
December 1, Eventim Apollo - London (afternoon and evening showing)
December 3, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall - Glasgow
December 5, Waterfront Hall Auditorium - Belfast
December 13, Sheffield City Hall Oval Hall - Sheffield
December 15, Usher Hall - Edinburgh
December 16, Symphony Hall - Birmingham
Can we dress up as a Christmas lobster while we're at it? How about the octopus? And will the full orchestra even play Billy Mack's 'Christmas Is All Around'? OR 'JUMP FOR MY LOVE'? These are questions we genuinely need to know the answer to. Tickets start at £44, and you should probably get involved immediately.
