Washington's Reuben Foster suffered torn ACL during OTA drills, carted off field
Via multiple reports, Washington linebacker Reuben Foster has been carted off the practice field after suffering a leg injury during the first drill of the team’s OTA practice.
Rhiannon Walker of The Athletic tweeted that Foster went to the turf and immediately grabbed his left leg and screamed out in pain.
He was on the ground for several minutes, surrounded by team medical staff, head coach Jay Gruden and team president Bruce Allen. ESPN’s John Keim tweeted that Foster was in tears as he was carted off.
It was later determined that Foster suffered a torn ACL, and has been ruled out for the season, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Foster, the 31st pick in the 2017 draft, was cut by the San Francisco 49ers last November after he was accused of domestic battery at the team hotel in Florida on the eve of the 49ers’ game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
