If, like us, you became completely invested in the psychological adventure competition, The Traitors at the end of last year, you're probably still wondering what to do with the large faithful-traitor-shaped hole in your heart.
Until now. Because the news is out that the American version is dropping *very* soon, and catching it in the UK is easier than you think. So, what is the deal with the US show, and how can you be prepared for its imminent launch?
How can you watch The Traitors US in the UK?
On Friday 13th January (coincidence? We think not), The Traitors US will be released on BBC iPlayer as a boxset. Which means good news for those who love a good binge-watching session.
However, if watching the series in real-time is more your thing, you'll also be able to enjoy it in a linear format, watching the episodes as they come out. They'll drop as double bills on BBC One every Wednesday night at 10.40pm, starting from January 25th for five weeks straight.
The show is also set to be shown across three weeks on BBC Three, too. This format will release its first three eps on the 24th, 25th and 26th of January. After that, the next episodes will air on January 30th and 31st, and February 1st and 2nd. Then, the last three will come out successively from February 6th for three more days.
Is The Traitors US going to be the same as the UK version?
The only differences between the two versions are that the US show will feature celebrity contestants, will be hosted by a different presenter (Scottish actor, Alan Cumming), and the cash prize is a little bigger than the UK's £120,000. (We're talking $250,000.)
The location is still the same - reality stars such as Below Deck's Kate Chastain and The Real Housewives' Brandi Glanville will be heading to the spooky Scottish Castle in the Highlands and will be following the original format of the game.
We. Can't. Wait.
