Everyone has a book in them, according to the old saying, but just how do you go about navigating the writing process – from coming up with a storyline, to perfecting the first draft and getting published?

Well, now is the time to find out because we've teamed up with four top authors for an exclusive, free Instagram Live masterclass on all things books next week.

Black British author Talia Hibbert will take over Red's Instagram (@redmagazine) on Thursday 3rd September at 6pm to share her experiences – and quiz fellow bestselling authors Charlene Allcott, Kwana Jackson and Laura Jane Williams about theirs. They'll also be answering your questions.

Talia Hibbert is a Black British author, signed to Little Brown, who lives in a bedroom full of books. Supposedly, there is a world beyond that room – but she has yet to drum up enough interest to investigate. She writes sexy, diverse romance because she believes that people of marginalised identities need honest and positive representation. Her interests include beauty, junk food, and unnecessary sarcasm. She is the author of Get a Life, Chloe Brown and Take a Hint, Dani Brown. Her next novel Act Your Age, Eve Brown publishes in March 2021. Follow Talia on Instagram, @taliahibbert.

Kwana Jackson (aka K.M Jackson) is a USA Today bestselling Harper Collins author and native New Yorker. She spent her formative years on the A train where she had two dreams: (1) to be a fashion designer and (2) to be a writer. After spending more than ten years designing women’s sportswear for various fashion houses, Kwana took a leap of faith and decided to pursue her other dream of being a writer. A longtime advocate of equality and diversity in romance (#WeNeedDiverseRomance), Kwana is the mother of twins and currently lives in a suburb of New York with her husband.
