Walmart Is Selling Thanksgiving Dinner Kits for as Low as $30
Gobble down on savings this year.
We love the holiday season but hate the toll it takes on our wallets. Inflation is no joke, and we’re feeling the pain even more this year. Luckily, there is some relief in sight in terms of paying for our Thanksgiving meal.
Walmart is gearing up for the holiday season with deals we can all appreciate. The retail giant is already dropping its prices to reflect pre-inflation levels for Thanksgiving, and now it has dinner kits to make cooking for a group that much easier this holiday season.
Walmart’s Thanksgiving Meal Dinner Kits for 2023
On Nov. 1, Walmart will start selling dinner baskets at seriously low prices, starting at just $30.
The store-brand basket with Walmart’s Great Value label will serve six people and feature all the traditional Thanksgiving menu items, including everything from a 16-pound frozen turkey to instant mashed potatoes, French-fried onions, chicken stuffing mix, and canned green beans. There’s also jellied cranberry sauce, canned turkey gravy, and dinner rolls.
Walmart is known for its low prices and the price-cut deals it offers during Thanksgiving, so you might wonder if this basket for $30 is worth it. As part of the Great Value label, just about every Thanksgiving side included in the basket is sold for less than a dollar, making it appear pretty cheap to buy separately. It’s the whole turkey that will likely cost a bit more, even with Walmart’s Thanksgiving deals, making this basket a solid option not only for the price but for the convenience of having everything you need already curated.
If you’re looking to make Thanksgiving dinner for more people or want other brand-name options to choose from, there are two other basket offerings. For $70, you’ll get enough food to serve roughly 10 people with Bob Evans mashed potatoes, Stove Top stuffing, and Marie Callender’s frozen pumpkin pie. The other option is the $77 basket which will serve a large crowd too, and features options that include brown sugar double-glazed spiral-cut ham, Heinz turkey gravy, and Pepperidge Farm Herb Stuffing.
Depending on how many you plan to have at your dinner table this Thanksgiving, and if you’re into labels or not, the Walmart Thanksgiving dinner meals can help make the holidays less stressful for you and your wallet.
