Virgin Atlantic launches inflight entertainment for blind passengers



Virgin Atlantic will cater specifically for blind passengers as their flights will now offer inflight entertainment for visually impaired customers.

The technology by Bluebox will audio describe the entertainment to them and has been tested by Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Mark Anderson, Executive Vice President - Customer at Virgin Atlantic, said: "So today I'm very proud to announce a global aviation first and that is that we've pioneered new technology to give our blind and visually impaired customers access to all our great inflight entertainment."
