Viola Davis looked incredible as she walked the red carpet at the 28th Annual Critics Choice Awards on Sunday, 15 January.
The actress stunned in a sequin gown by designer, Valentino. The 57-year old star was the very picture of Hollywood glamour; opting for a brown, sequin gown with stunning and flattering details.
Viola's look comprised of a glittering gown which had a floor-length cape, adding drama and elegance to her look. The high neckline of the dress makes for an effortlessly flattering look, with a small cut-out around the shoulder adding something new and exciting to this design.
To complement her gown, Viola opted for some silver accessories, including statement earrings and a silver ring. For her makeup, she chose a classic yet bold smoky eye and a natural lip.
Viola was seen walking the red carpet with her husband, Julius Tennon. The pair looked happy and relaxed as they posed for photos together, with Julius looking suave in a black suit and a yellow shirt for a smart yet vibrant look.
In a particularly sweet moment, Julius was seen with an arm around Viola as the two enjoyed their evening together.
Viola was nominated at the ceremony for Best Actress for her role in the 2022 film The Woman King. However, it was Cate Blanchett who ultimately won this award for her role as musician Lydia Tár in the film Tár.
