The Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels star is an avid hunter and regularly updates his followers on his favourite hobby, but has shocked some people with this latest image of the dead animals laid out in nine rows in a clearing.

He reportedly shared the tweet – a screengrab of which has been shared by actress Sofia Hayat on Instagram – with a friend and also recently shared other pictures, one with 18 dead rabbits, and captioned it ‘How about this for two hours pal,’ according to the Daily Mail.

The footballer-turned-Hollywood actor recently admitted that lamping – the act of hunting at night which is legal – is one of his favourite hobbies outside of working.

‘Lamping is probably my favourite. I’ve spent a lot of money on customising my Land Rover for lamping. If the farmer has a fox problem I love going out and dealing with it for him.’

‘My perfect day would be to get up early, get the hide out, shoot pigeons all day, bagging 200, then go lamping all night and get half-a-dozen foxes,’ he told Shooting UK earlier this month.

He also talked about his love of the countryside, his favourite sporting quarry and ‘the best time’ of his life working as a gamekeeper.
