What the Victoria's Secret models wore to the after party - before it was shut down by Shanghai police

Another year, another Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show done and dusted. The 2017 edition took place in Shanghai, China, yesterday and starred the likes of Adriana Lima, Bella Hadid, Lily Aldridge and Karlie Kloss. Brazilian model Alessandra Ambrosio also walked in the lingerie extravaganza for the last time.

But how does a model wind down from a show like that? With an after-party, naturally. All the angels, returners and newcomers stepped out of their wings and into their red carpet glad rags for an evening of celebration.

Bella slipped into a red custom Alexandre Vauthier number, Alessandra opted for an asymmetric Versace look and Adriana turned to Mugler for her two-tone dress.

However, according to WWD, the celebrations were cut short just before midnight when Shanghai Police shut the event down.

“They want us to finish. We are sorry, we tried,” said a woman who had been directing the crowd to disperse over the microphone. According to WWD, a number of uniformed police officers then started to make their way in to the venue at the Mercedes-Benz Arena.
