Victoria Beckham's Elegant Dress Is Worthy Of A State Banquet
While Victoria Beckham frequents Fashion Week and star-studded industry events across the year, her most recent appearance at a royal engagement marked a new foray for both her and her husband David Beckham.
The designer was pictured attending a State Banquet at Buckingham Palace this week, wearing a refined floor-length dress. The design was a sophisticated example of black-tie dressing, featuring gathered detailing just below the waist and exaggerated shoulder pads in a jersey fabric.

The focus of the dress — a piece from her own brand — was the elegantly low-cut back, which nodded to the modern silhouettes often found in Beckham's collections. Luckily, for those with an upcoming black-tie event, the piece is still available to buy.
She paired the dress with classic black peep-toe heels, drop earrings and a gold clutch bag befitting the evening's opulent setting.
Beckham kept her approach to beauty on par with her minimalist outfit, opting for a sleek ponytail worn low in a middle part. Her make-up was fresh and glowing, comprising of a bronzed complexion with a smokey eye and nude lip combination that's become something of a signature for the designer.

Her appearance at the State Banquet comes just weeks after being named as Entrepreneur of the Year, presented to her by her daughter Harper, at Harper's Bazaar's Women of the Year Awards. Her fashion brand, as well as some elements of her wider life, will be the subject of an upcoming docuseries for Netflix, for which she is currently in the process of filming. In a recent interview, Beckham said; 'It’s not going to be as personal. I realise that I am a bit of a travelling circus, even when I’m at work, but this is very fashion-focused.'
