Brooklyn Beckham and girlfriend Nicola Anne Peltz are engaged. The eldest child of David and Victoria Beckham confirmed the happy news on social media, revealing that he popped the question in June.

'Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes,' he wrote on Instagram. 'I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. Love you baby.'

He made the announcement alongside a romantic picture of them taken in a field, which Peltz confirmed was taken by his sister, Harper. The actress is seen wearing a floaty yellow dress by her soon-to-be mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham.

Victoria Beckham also took to Instagram to share her delight at the news.

'The MOST exciting news!' she wrote, sharing the same picture. 'We could not be happier that @brooklynbeckham and @nicolaannepeltz are getting married! Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness. We all love you both so much.'

Peltz replied to Victoria's message in a comment, saying: 'I love you so much Victoria, I'm the luckiest girl.'

Peltz shared a similarly gushing message to her new fiancé on her own Instagram feed, writing: 'You’ve made me the luckiest girl in the world. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life by your side. Your love is the most precious gift. I love you so so much baby and thank you Harper for this pic.'
