She said she has a different, more relaxed side to her.
And Victoria Beckham certainly showed that off as she stepped out wearing a billowing frock in New York yesterday.
The New York Fashion Week designer – who showcased her SS14 collection at the weekend – wore a dress hot off the runway.
The 39-year-old’s pastel blue frock featured a loose, t-shirt style upper half with a billowing skirt.
Victoria’s dress was designed to be oversized but it looked even bigger in the typical New York windy conditions.
The mum-of-four looked effortlessly stylish as she styled her Spring / Summer 2014 frock with black ankle boots and obligatory sunnies.
But for anyone else that doesn’t have a designer wardrobe and an A-List stylist on call, can it be worn?
The first thing to remember about wearing a billowing frock like VB’s is a pair of heels.
A simple pair of nude pointed court shoes will elongate your legs – but steer clear of ankle boots like Victoria if you’re petite.

There’s no point trying to cinch in your waist wearing this dress as it’s not designed to be fitted. Instead, smarten it up with chic accessories.
We’d style this dress with a classic black blazer – and throw on a statement necklace to take you from work to drinks.
And make sure your dress is the focal part of the outfit by wearing a bag that doesn’t cross the body. Victoria is likely to style hers with a Hermes Birkin – but we’ll stick to our favourite Topshop number.
