Tom Cruise
One of the most famous faces within the Church of Scientology is the ‘Mission Impossible’ actor. Tom Cruise joined the Church through his former wife Mimi Rogers, in the early 90s. The actor is seen as a senior figure within the faith, and in 2005, he campaigned for Scientology to be recognised as a religion in Europe. - 3/11
Kirstie Alley
The 'Cheers' actress joined the church in 1979 and credits it for helping her to overcome substance abuse issues. In a video titled ‘Orientation: A Scientology Information Film’, which seeks to promote the Church’s faith, she once said: "Honest to God truth, without Scientology I would be dead. The 'Fatal Attraction' actress was raised a Christian Scientist but converted to Scientology in the 1970s. She previously explained how the Church has made her life make sense. She said: “Scientology has been very meaningful in my life. It's taught me a lot of good information. It’s very smart stuff that has helped me in my life.” She then revealed one of her sons is into Scientology too, while the other one is not, “which is absolutely fine. There is no conflict. The 'That 70s Show' actor was raised within the faith. He is currently awaiting trial on four counts of rape, and in 2019, he and the Church of Scientology were sued for stalking and harassment, stemming from the allegations. - 7/11

Elisabeth has largely kept her involvement with the church quiet and rarely speaks about her faith. In a A&E documentary called ‘Inside Scientology’, Jenna talked about the Church’s sub-group called Celebrity Centre, focused on A-List stars who are part of the movement. The ‘Orange Is The New Black’ star became a part of the Church when she first started dating her ‘That 70s Show’ co-star, Christopher Masterson. She has since been a Scientologist since 1999 and has spoken openly about her religion. Prepon said: “Everyone who knows me thinks, ‘Wow! If Laura is a Scientologist there must be something to it.’ " Later on, however, she revealed to People magazine that “I’m no longer practicing Scientology.” - 10/11
John Travolta and Kelly Preston
The movie star joined the Church of Scientology back in 1975 and is listed on the religion's website as one of the most successful scientologists. In a statement, he said: "As a Scientologist, I have the technology to deal with life's problems and I have used it to help others in life too. I would say Scientology brought me into great life."
