Nowadays, I'll snooze for as long as I can get away with but when I went to secondary school, I would always set my alarm extra early to style my hair.

My favourite hairstyle of all time was the bump. You know the one. It involved taking the front section of your hair and clipping it up. Often, it involved giving your hair a little twist for, well, a bump at the front.

While my style inspo came from Lauren Conrad in The OC, this hairstyle was everywhere, from the Olsen twins to Beyonce to all of the girls at my secondary school.

It was a truly iconic look.

So, I was so happy to see Vanessa Hudgens wearing this classic hairstyle for an appearance on The View.

Vanessa, who is currently promoting The Princess Switch 3 (cannot waiiiit), had the front sections of her hair pinned up. Her hairstylist Danielle Priano styled the rest of it into loose curls and I’ve got to say, she looks a lot better than when I wore this look to school…

Maybe it’s time to dig out my Bump-Its…
