Usher tied the knot with his mom by his side!
The singer, 45, married his longtime girlfriend, Jennifer Goicoechea, in Las Vegas on Sunday, the same day he headlined the 2024 Super Bowl halftime show. His mother, Jonnetta Patton, served as the witness for the couple's ceremony at Vegas Weddings' Terrace Gazebo, an outdoor wedding chapel, according to a marriage certificate obtained by PEOPLE.
A representative for the music superstar confirmed the pair's nuptials to PEOPLE on Monday.
"We can confirm that Usher and Jennifer Goicoechea took the next step in their relationship and did get married on Sunday night in Las Vegas surrounded by close friends and family," the rep said in an exclusive statement.
"They both look forward to continuing to raise their children together surrounded by love, and thank everyone for the well wishes."
After the big game on Sunday, Usher and Goicoechea, 40, stepped out together in Las Vegas wearing coordinating white outfits. The "My Boo" singer was photographed sporting a simple gold band on his left wedding finger.
Ahead of their nuptials, the couple secured a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada, on Feb. 8, according to court records acquired by PEOPLE.
Usher recently told PEOPLE he was open to the idea of marrying Goicoechea, noting that the pair is already committed because of the two children they share: daughter Sovereign Bo, 3, and son Sire Castrello, 2.
"We've obviously made a commitment to life for life together because of our children," explained the Grammy winner, who also has two teenage sons, Usher V and Naviyd Ely, with ex-wife Tameka Foster. "It wouldn't be odd for us to get married. We already did here. You know what I'm saying?"

Usher and Goichoechea, a music industry executive, first sparked dating rumors in June 2019 after they were photographed together at a birthday party for producer Keith Richards.
In November 2023, Usher told PEOPLE he felt "fortunate" to have his then-girlfriend by his side in life, calling her his "support system."
"I'm very happy, very fortunate to have an incredible friend, not just a partner," he said. "She's my best friend, and I love her."
