In a press release on Tuesday, the theme park announced its “game changer” park, which officially opens in 2025, will feature five “immersive worlds” that guests can explore.

This land, which connects the four others, offers a number of activities to enjoy, including dining, retail and a shooting comet-themed rollercoaster.
Those four worlds are The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk and Dark Universe.
While few details have been released for the other worlds, the theme park states that the new Ministry of Magic addition will recreate a 1920s wizarding Paris that draws inspiration from the Fantastic Beasts films and the British Ministry fans will recognize from the original Harry Potter series.
Universal Orlando Resort already boasts a number of fan-favorite attractions from the original film series, including Hogwarts Castle, Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade and the Hogwarts Express.

Meanwhile, Dark Universe will draw inspiration from everything from “the experiments of Dr. Victoria Frankenstein to the shadowy landscape where monsters roam in a world of myth and mystery,” according to the release. Universal has long attracted horror lovers with its popular annual event Halloween Horror Nights.
In total, the park will offer over 50 attractions, entertainment and dining options and shopping experiences to choose from.
Universal Orlando Resort first teased the new theme park in August 2019 with a post on X (formerly Twitter) that read, “This is kind of a big deal,” alongside a promo photo. A week later, it revealed the official name of the park and concept art in a press conference.
Epic Universe will be the fourth theme park to join the resort’s Universal Studios (the original park), Islands of Adventure and Volcano Bay Water Park.
