Caralyn Mirand Koch shares her top styles under $70.
We’ve all been there: You conceptualize the perfect look in your head, but when you go to actually put it on, you just can’t figure out the right undergarments to wear with it. That’s why model and content creator Caralyn Mirand Koch is passionate about “finding the proper foundations for a good outfit,” she said. And lucky for us, the self-proclaimed “undergarment expert” shared with me four of her favorite bras, all for less than $70 at Amazon.
According to Mirand Koch, if you are “thinking about your bra and your underwear throughout the day,” they “probably don't fit.” She pointed out that many of us are quick to purchase new blouses or dresses each season, but we “have such a hard time with investing in undergarments.” A supportive, well-fitting bra will make your new dress “fit a lot better,” Mirand Koch said, so it’s worth grabbing a few new styles.
Expert-Approved Amazon Bras
Best Everyday Bra: Vanity Fair Wireless Comfort Bra, $30 (Originally $50)
Best Lounge Bra: True and Co True Body Lift Triangle Adjustable-Strap Bra, $42
Best for Fuller Busts: Elomi Matilda Unlined Plunge Underwire Bra, $42 (Originally $70)

Best Everyday Bra: Vanity Fair Wireless Comfort Bra
$50
$30
Thanks to its smooth and stretchy fabric, the Vanity Fair Wireless Comfort Bra is a “great smoothing piece” in both the “front and back,” Mirand Koch said. It has a subtle V-neckline, adjustable straps, molded cups, supportive band under the bust, and a hook-and-eye closure on the back. A 62-year-old Amazon shopper even confirmed the bra is “flattering under clothes” and the “most comfortable” style in their collection, making it ideal for everyday wear. Choose from sizes S through 3XL, which corresponds to a 34B through a 44DD, per the brand.
Best Lounge Bra: True and Co True Body Lift Triangle Adjustable-Strap Bra
$42
For the days when you’re lounging at home or running casual errands, you’ll want this True and Co wirefree bra in your underwear drawer. The pull-on style is so comfortable that Mirand Koch “wears it to sleep” — now that’s saying something. It’s made from a “buttery-soft” material, according to a reviewer, and it has adjustable straps so you can customize your perfect fit. Plus, it comes in a whopping 45 colors and sizes 30A through 44DDD.
Best for Fuller Busts: Elomi Matilda Unlined Plunge Underwire Bra
$70
$42
Elomi is a “fantastic” lingerie brand for fuller busts, according to Mirand Koch, and she especially recommends the Matilda underwire bra, which comes in sizes 32J through 46DD. It has a plunging neckline, so you can wear it under “low-cut tops and dresses” without the cups poking out, Mirand Koch said. Plus, it’s made from sheer mesh that “doesn’t add any bulk,” she added. It also has adjustable straps with a clasp to turn it optionally into a racerback style and a hook-and-eye closure on the back.
Best Strapless Bra: Wacoal Red Carpet Strapless Bra
$70
$65
“Everyone needs a fantastic strapless bra,” Mirand Koch said, and her pick is the Wacoal Red Carpet style. It has lightly padded cups with a supportive underwire and silicone strips along the top to keep the bra in place, a wide band to smooth out your skin and prevent bulge, and a hook-and-eye closure on the back. A shopper wore it to their daughter’s wedding “from getting ready in the morning to dancing the night away, including jumping up and down,” and it “didn’t move.” The popular strapless bra is available in sizes 30D through 44G.
