The Umbrella Academy fans are all creasing at this season 3 moment

Finally. The Umbrella Academy season 3 is here after months of anticipation, and fans are back with our favourite adopted Hargreeves siblings and their counterparts the Sparrow Academy.

Now, if you’re like us and you’ve binge-watched all 10 episodes since its release on Wednesday with an abundance of popcorn and a selection of snacks, your mind has more than likely been stuck on a particular scene. Yep, we’re talking about THAT two-and-a-half-minute dance sequence that has now been engraved in our memory.

Soundtracked by Kenny Loggins’ iconic 'Footloose', the scene from the show’s premiere has the fanbase in a frenzy, commenting on how the show stayed true to its character with the fun-filled clip.

As viewers came to learn, the scene actually took place in Diego’s head, after Sparrow No.6 showcases her unique ability to make others hallucinate with her blue saliva.

Now, a lot of other things could have taken place (we’ll let your minds wonder), but this dance sequence was just what we needed. As both the Umbrellas and the Sparrows throw it down, it's as if we’ve entered the world of Step Up, and numerous fans have taken to socials to share their adoration.

As one person put it, "It’s not really The Umbrella Academy without the dancing" and another added, "Everyone dancing to footloose instead of having a battle is so #UmbrellaAcademy of them."

Ahh, we love them.

The Umbrella Academy season 3 is now available to stream on Netflix.
