Uma Thurman's new drama Suspicion's trailer is here – and it's already at the top of our must-watch list

Apple TV+'s new drama Suspicion is right around the corner, and if the trailer is anything to go by, we're putting it at the top of our must-watch list. So what is the new series about?

The official synopsis reads: "When the son of a prominent American businesswoman is kidnapped from a New York hotel, the eye of suspicion quickly falls on four seemingly ordinary British citizens who were at the hotel on the night in question.

"As they find themselves in a trans-Atlantic cat and mouse race to evade the combined forces of the National Crime Agency and the FBI to prove their innocence, it becomes apparent that not everyone can be trusted. Who is really behind the mysterious abduction, and who is only guilty of being in the wrong place at the wrong time?"

There is a seriously impressive cast including Uma Thurman, The Big Bang Theory actor Kunal Nayyar, The Americans star Noah Emmerich, Black Mirror actress Georgina Campbell and Agent of SHIELD's Elizabeth Henstridge.

The first two episodes of the eight-part series will be released on Friday 4 February, and will subsequently release weekly episodes every Friday. We're pretty sure we're going to be kept on the edge of our seats with this one!


Uma plays the mother of a kidnapped son

Fans are already looking forward to the new series, with one writing: "I'm ready to figure out who kidnapped the son #Suspicion," while another added: "Hollywood needs to give Uma Thurman more work. She's a really great actress." A third person added: "I feel a big twist at the end!"

Apple TV+ have several exciting new shows out in 2022, including comedy The Afterparty and Adam Scott's new series, Severence. It will also see the return of the popular series, Servant.
