Lots of pretty niche TV and movie crossovers have come to light recently. From Dirty Dancing's Baby playing a pretty major role in Friends, to the link between Bridgerton and The Crown that we somehow all missed, every day is certainly a school day. Now, in perhaps the greatest crossover ever, fans have spotted that Dani Harmer had a role in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone before she became Tracy Beaker. Please see below for evidence of this excellent discovery.

It all started when a fan tweeted a clip of a scene in the 2002 film showing the Gryffindor student celebrating at their table in the Great Hall as Dumbledore announces they've won the house cup that year. The user tweeted the video along with a caption tagging Dani Harmer.

"I think I found @DaniHarmer in Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone, she is behind Oliver Wood after Hermione speaks."

And while it seems like it might just be a Beaker lookalike, Dani herself responded to the tweet and confirmed it, saying, "Yep there I am xx." And if that wasn't proof enough the film is listed Harmer's filmography on IMDb. Case closed.

Harmer rose to fame as our favourite stroppy kid Tracy Beaker in the eponymous series in 2002, a year after Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone was released. Harmer will be returning to the iconic role in a new three-part series My Mum Tracy Beaker, which lands on CBBC tomorrow (12 February).
