U.S. Army Launches Drone From Moving Vehicle

The U.S. Army has successfully launched drones out of moving vehicles, it has been reported.

An ALTIUS-600 (Agile-Launch Tactically Integrated Unmanned System) was seen launching from a Dagor ultralight tactical vehicle this month.

The display was announced 15 May, 2021, by the U.S. Army Future Vertical Lift Cross-Functional Team, as part of the two-week-long event, Edge 21 (Experimental Demonstration Gateway Exercise), held at Dugway Proving Ground, Utah.

The ALTIUS-600 is a small unmanned aircraft system (UAS) designed to gather intelligence in real time.
